As schools close for the summer, there are plenty of venues in Hull where families can stay cool and make a splash at the same time. Here is a list of outdoor swimming pools, splash parks and paddling pools in the city and whether they are currently open or closed. Albert Avenue lido This facility has had a £10.5m rebuild and includes a heated lido which has been refurbished for outdoor swimming. It also includes a water play area. Alderman Kneeshaw Park This park is home to a seasonal water play area. The council states this facility is open until the beginning of September from 10:00 to 17:00 BST. Bude Park The park includes a seasonal splash park. The council states this facility is open until the beginning of September from 10:00 to 17:00. East Park splash pad - closed The park includes a children's splash playground and a 43-jet splash park, as well as splash boats and swan boats. However, those wanting to cool down in the splash park will have to wait as it will not be open this summer after an inspection found "issues with the quality of the surface" which required a complete refurbishment, the council said.
